Reverence and accuracy
SafestCore exists to invite understanding of Islam and guidance from Allah. Its content must treat Allah, the Quran, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Islamic sacred matters with reverence. Accuracy serves this purpose: attractive wording must never justify an invented narration, a misleading quotation or an exaggerated research claim.
Sources readers can inspect
Scriptural references identify the passage or narration. Research references identify the original institution or publication. Editorial explanation is kept separate from the source. When a claim has limitations or uncertainty, those limits belong beside the claim.
Review before publication
- Check the exact reference and its context.
- Check religious interpretation with qualified expertise where needed.
- Verify translations and permissions for media.
- Remove unsubstantiated superlatives and unsupported statistics.
- Use corrections and revisions rather than silently concealing a material error.
Does SafestCore issue personal fatwas?
These introductory pages are educational. Personal religious rulings should be sought from qualified scholars who can assess the relevant circumstances.
The method must reflect the message
A website that invites people to Allah cannot justify falsehood, manipulation or careless quotation in the name of effectiveness. Islamic da‘wah requires truthfulness, wisdom and justice. A beautiful page is not successful if it wins attention by overstating evidence or hiding a relevant limitation.
Persuasion should come from clarity and truth
SafestCore can be confident about Islam without becoming sensational. State the Islamic claim plainly, support factual statements with inspectable sources, distinguish certainty from interpretation, and allow readers to follow the evidence. Avoid manufactured consensus, fake testimonials, invented scientific miracles and statistics selected only because they sound impressive.
Corrections are a form of responsibility
No large educational project is beyond error. The responsible response is to correct material mistakes, preserve a revision trail where appropriate and improve the process that allowed the error. Concealing a mistake to protect the appearance of perfection would contradict the very standard the site teaches.
- Quran and authentic Sunnah take priority in religious claims.
- Editorial wording must never be confused with revelation.
- Recognised scholarly differences should be represented accurately and without ridicule.
- Research claims should retain their methods, dates and limitations.
- Every translation should preserve the Islamic meaning rather than merely imitate English word order.
- Calls to Islam should remain respectful, non-coercive and clear about what Islam actually teaches.
What does “fully Islamic” mean for the editorial method?
It means the site aims to present Islam faithfully from its own sources and recognised methodology: tawhid, revelation, authentic Sunnah, worship, moral responsibility and qualified scholarship. It does not mean attaching an Islamic label to unsupported claims or treating cultural habits as revelation.
